The Wusthof honing steel is designed to help you achieve a precision edge on your knives and other cutting tools. Regularly using a honing steel keeps your knives sharp and precise in between proper sharpenings.
This tool is made from high-quality chromium plated steel, providing a rock-hard surface that will help you keep your blades sharp and durable. The round-tipped end makes it safe to use, while the looped handle provides an easy grip.
As your knife begins to dull with use over time, a few strokes of both sides of the knife over the honing steel will help you to maintain the sharpness of a good blade.
