Made in Colombia, the pan is pre-seasoned with 100% non-GMO flaxseed oil. Treating and re-seasoning the pan is also easy to do, making this a pan that can last you a lifetime with proper care.

Cleaning

  • Gently scrub the pan using mild dish soap, warm water and a non-abrasive sponge or scrub brush.
  • Rinse it clean and dry thoroughly.
  • Never put a cast iron pan in the dishwasher 

Treating & Seasoning

  • Scrub Your Pan: Clean the pan with a brush and warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Season With Oil: Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the surface (inside and out). Use vegetable, canola, grapeseed or flaxseed oil for best results. Apply using paper towel (like you would grease a cookie sheet).
  • Bake For 1 Hour: Place the pan in the oven upside down for 1 hour and bake at 450-500° F. Put a baking sheet or aluminum foil on the bottom rack underneath the pan to catch drips. Remove from the oven after 1 hour and allow the pan to cool.
