Black Creek PioneerVillage: Thanksgiving at the Village








Date: October 13, 2019 @ 11:00 am – 4:30 pm

Cost: $11-$15, children ages 4 and under get in free

Where: Black Creek Pioneer Village, 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto Ontario M3J 2P3

What to expect: Harvest-themed activities, Meet the animals, Musical performances, Old-fashioned games, Shows featuring our history actors, Wagon rides, Thanksgiving BBQ

October Family Fun  Weekends

Dates:Saturdays & Sundays, October 5 to 20, 2019 | 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Cost: Pay What You Can at the door

Where: Scarborough Museum, 1007 Brimley Road, Toronto

What to expect: Crafts, Enchanted scavenger hunt, Tour the historic buildings, Dress up in pioneer costumes, Try a slice of Devil’s Food Cake cooked in a wood burning oven with a cup of pumpkin spiced drink.

Saturday Family Clay

Dates: Every Saturday

Cost: $15-$20 Fee includes firing and materials

Where: LucSculpture Art School, 663 Greenwood Avenue, Toronto

What to expect: Book a spot for your family and friends to make clay sculpture and hand-built objects.

Thanksgiving at the Toronto Zoo

Date: Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14 | 9:30am to 6:00pm

Cost: Adult (13-64) $29.00, Children (3-12) $19.00, Senior (65+) $24.00, Toddler (2 & under) FREE

What to expectGrizzly Bear Thanksgiving Feast (2pm)

“Visit the Grizzly Bear Keeper Talk at 2:00pm on Monday as Samson and Shintay enjoy their very own special Thanksgiving Feast as they bulk up to prepare for hibernation.”

Where: Better Living Centre,195 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3

What to expect: A haunted theme park with 7 haunted mazes featuring 120 live scare actors.

Park opens at 7pm. Event recommended for ages 10 and up.
