Let your mouth water and fire up your taste buds for this delicious recipe! This savory rendition of classic meatballs lets you add some Greek flair to your dinner table by infusing the sensational taste of lamb with the smooth bite of feta. Using ingredients that can typically already be found in your pantry and staples from local butchers, impress everyone (including yourself!) by following this simple method!

Ingredients You'll Need:
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • dried mint
  • zest of one lemon
  • S&P
  • 1/3 cup feta, crumbled

How To:
  1. Combine meat, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, mint, lemon zest and S&P
  2. Form into meatballs
  3. Create a well with your thumb and stuff a small chunk of feta inside
  4. Reseal and reform ball
  5. Heat a heavy bottomed pan with a good glug of olive oil over medium heat.
  6. Once oil is shimmering place the meatballs in the pan leaving plenty of space to allow them to brown
  7. Turn frequently to ensure even browning
  8. Garnish with more dried mint and lemon zest if desired

Final Thoughts:

These delicious meatballs are excellent when served in a simple herb pasta, as an hors d'oeurve, or even with a side of rice and a green salad.

The possibilities are endless with how you would like to enjoy this mouth watering recipe!
